Using GitHub and Markdown to create a fantastic CMS SaaS

Hello everyone,

Marcus here, and I want to tell you about a SaaS project I'm working on called BluSpix CMS. Before I begin, I wanted to explain how I came up with the term BluSpix. My family and I watched Rio, an animated movie whose main character is named Blu, a lot when I was a child. Blu is the inspiration for the platform's name because I wanted to utilize the character to convey the platform's fun, wild, and perseverance-inspiring ethos. In a nutshell, Blu, the main character, is a blue bird that belongs to the Spix Macaw species, which is in danger of extinction. The other component of the project name is therefore called Spix. Anyway, throughout the majority of the film, Blu couldn't fly since he was reared by humans. In the end, Blu eventually learned to fly when his girlfriend was in danger. I wanted the platform to be enjoyable while also encouraging all users to keep pushing and trying.

I began BluSpix CMS because I was already blogging with Netlify CMS. I enjoy the Netlify CMS project since it seeks to simplify blog creation and management without adding unnecessary complexity. The use of markdown while producing blogs is something I truly appreciate. Despite how good the project is, I have several problems with it, particularly with the user interface and user experience (UX) (UI). I went to the GitHub source to see whether others shared my opinion that the project lacked an excellent UI and UX since I felt this way. There are a lot of problems, but not enough of them have solutions. So I went ahead and created my own solution, which has a better, more effective editor.

Here are some of the platform features:

🔥 Data is stored on GitHub. The files are kept in your GitHub repository and in markdown format. As a result, you may benefit from version control and the material can be examined before being accepted or refused.

🔥 GitHub sign-in.

❤️‍🔥 Getting this correctly is key since a quality editor is essential to the UX. The editor I choose is really strong and powerful. Syntax Highlighting, Scroll-Sync, Live Preview, and Chart Features are the editor's key features. Additionally, the editor supports arithmetic equations and code snippets.

🔥Keep your blog's workflow consistent. Choose whether your material belongs in the to-do, in-progress, under review, or done category.

🔥 Team management features will be available on the platform. Adding team members is simple via email. Then, all they'll need is a personal account, and quick access is theirs.

❤️‍🔥 Artificial intelligence content help from Blu AI (Open AI). Blu will be able to assist you with content creation. You may ask for title recommendations, subject suggestions, or even content writers to write your articles. You're probably making a goofy face at the name right now. Don't you think it's appropriate?

And please let me officially introduce myself. I figured I'd get into SaaS because I've been coding for a while. Although I know a little about the backend, the frontend is where my expertise lies. My preferred programming languages are Go (currently learning), React, Javascript, and PHP (Laravel). I enjoy experimenting and learning about new technology.

My goal is to get 25 to 50 people on my waitlist.

If anyone wants to know more you can join the waitlist so I can email you updates. Here is the waitlist below:
