🚀 Using Gumroad for SaaS Licensing - Anyone Else Tried It? Looking for Suggestions!
I'm currently working on my SaaS product, Hacksocial.ai, an AI-powered platform designed to enhance social media interactions with AI-assisted replies and innovative features like the "Steering Wheel". It's built for popular platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit, using the advanced GPT-4 model to help users create meaningful connections, overcome writer's block, and grow their audience with ease.
Now, I'm looking to set up licensing and offer different tiers with varying usage limits for my customers. I'm leaning towards using Gumroad since I've already built out several integrations with it, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts and experiences:

You could certainly manage it on your own WordPress site. You could, for instance, use the PaidMembershipsPro (or most of the other membership plugins) to sell "memberships" at different tiers. And these integrate with payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal, no problem. You could then either have people log in through that site and access your services embedded in access-controlled pages in WordPress, or authenticate them on your service, but then use a REST api to query your WordPress site to check whether the user has the right membership level for what they're trying to do.
