Hi,
I'm terrible at web designing and I do not like how everything looks the same with web-site constructors, such as landen.co (but I do use them and great tool for what it does). We are expanding our service all the time, but the landing page changes once a year at best. I was thinking of creating sublanding pages using infographics (mainly visme and their html5 export of infographic) - it can be crawled by google, it is easy to build and visually it can look awesome.
What are the downsides ? Why I should stay away from this idea or shouldn't I ?
Thanks,
Anton :)
Hey @rachitskiy - it's hard to tell, would be awesome if you can share some screenshots, statistics etc
Understand you want to stay away from the norm and make users excited. I think you should give a try anyway, do your own A/B test and see which page(s) or UIs generate more business impact.
I made a decision switch from a color-themed design to just black and white for my side project. It looks dumb, but data never lies, I can see 30% less bounce rate and 45% more conversion rate.
All the best!
