Hi all,
This might seem silly, but I'd love this group's opinion. I currently have a Twitter account which is (mostly) tied to my day job. It's my name. I'm a product manager and when I tweet, it's generally been about product management. As I get closer to launching a product management-centric product, I'd like to continue to build this audience and leverage it.
Completely aside, I really enjoy writing and I've started posting writing on my personal domain which is identical to my Twitter handle. I'd like to start using Twitter to get engagement with my writing. My problem (or theoretical problem) is that I don't think that having one account tweeting about two (mostly) unrelated things is a good idea.
So, here are the options as I see them:
The problem is that I like the personalization of using my name. I believe in these things and I want my name associated with them. Out of these options, I think #1 is probably best, but I'm curious what other people have done.
@BeauBlinder I'm just a beginner at growing on twitter actually. How has your experience been until now, on the platform?
