Validating: AI tool for cold email personalization: Is this pain real?

I'm trying to validate whether this problem is painful enough to solve: researching prospects and writing personalized cold emails is mentally exhausting and doesn't scale.

The idea: A tool that automates prospect research (LinkedIn, company sites, etc.) and generates personalized email drafts in the background. You configure what you want to say, and it handles the research and writing. The goal is to help solo founders go from 10 emails/month to 50-100 without burning out.

Early signals from Reddit are mixed - some interest but mostly at <$20/month pricing. I'm trying to figure out if I'm solving the wrong problem or just haven't found the right audience yet.
