I’m validating an idea called CompliAssistant — an AI-powered HIPAA compliance assistant for small businesses that don’t have legal teams or time to deal with endless policies, audits, and documentation.
The big question I’m testing:

Trust is the biggest hurdle in compliance curious to see how founders respond. The positioning is strong, and the pain point is real.

One thing we’re exploring is making the AI more “assistive” than autonomous early on — like helping draft policies or prepping audit docs, but keeping a human in the loop. We’re also thinking about layering in expert-reviewed templates and transparency logs to boost confidence.
Curious: what would make you trust an AI tool in a regulated space like this? Would love your take — especially if you’ve seen tools that did this well.
