Validating an app idea through Kickstarter
I have a cool app idea and I am thinking of starting a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds and most importantly to validate the idea. I am a product designer and I don't want to invest much in developing an MVP. what do you think of kick starter as an idea validation method?

It's good if you can pull it off, but I don't think you should expect much if any organic traffic to reach it, if you can put your own traffic in and show the dream and say your offering discounted or life time subscriptions, no difference to me if it's Kickstarter or your own website except less money and branding for you, but similar validation
