Validating an idea with Keyword & Google trends
Hey! Just want to know what everyones take is on validating your idea via Keyword Planner and Google Trends.
I've had some ideas that I thought were plausible; they provide a solution to a problem for a specific market. However upon searching the relevant keywords on Keyword Planner, I've found that they're virtually not being targeted at all.
Is this a good enough indication that there just isn't a demand? Or is there not enough data to conclude that?
How much weight do you put on tools like the keyword planner and google trends?
You can't validate using keywords or GT. You need to see if people are willing to pay for a product.
The only things you can validate with Google Keyword Planner and Trends are Google keywords and trends.
It's just nowhere near of "validating an idea".
Take it as what it is, one input among many others.
