Validating idea: prompt manager for AI power users — would you use it?

Working on a desktop app called PromptNest — basically a dedicated place to store, organize, and quickly access AI prompts. Think of it as IDE for prompts.
The problem I'm solving (for myself at least):
I use AI tools constantly and kept losing good prompts. They'd end up in random notes, scattered docs, or just gone. Every time I wanted to reuse something, I'd either spend 5 mins hunting for it or just rewrite from scratch.
What I built:
- Store prompts organized by projects/groups
- Variables ({{client}}, {{tone:formal|casual}}) that prompt you to fill in before copying
- Global hotkey to search and grab prompts from any app
- File-based storage (just markdown files, no cloud lock-in)
- Works offline, no account
Current status:
- Mac version is done and free
- Windows coming next
- Thinking about prompt marketplace and prompt runner as future features
Where I need help:
- Is this a real problem for enough people or am I just scratching my own itch?
- Would you pay for this? Thinking $10 one-time or maybe freemium with pro features
- Prompt marketplace — interesting or oversaturated?
- What would make this a "shut up and take my money" tool for you?
Honestly trying to figure out if this has legs or if I should just keep it as a personal tool.
