"Validating-In-Public"

As a non-coder, I always need more time, energy & resources to build a product and this is a big risk for me. So, I've been thinking about this concept, "Validating-In-Public" (btw, I just made up this name).

"Validating-In-Public" prioritizes Problem-Customer-Solution Fit (which comes before Product-Market fit) over product development. This concept may be overlapped with "Building-In-Public". But, the idea here is to focus on validating the desirability aspect of the business model.

I am wondering if anyone here feels the same. Also, would you be interested in joining a support network based on this "Validating-in-Public" concept?
