Hey IH,
I've been brainstorming about this idea of creating a service where Airbnb/Bnb's hosts would provide their guests a way to enhance their stay.
This would probably be a PWA (don't think users would be willing to download a mobile app from an app store for this as much) where hosts would add all the information regarding their property.
Things like:
This idea has been growing on me as I've been staying in Airbnb's where i was literally dumped there and... see ya later, Byee!
Tripadviser is great but, reviews from 2008 aren't always worth much in 2020.
If i travel to Barcelona, there's thousands of restaurants on tripadviser to choose from. I would rather have a list of 5 great restaurants sugested from a local.
This would allow the host to put a little bit more effort into the process and give his guests an overall better experience.
Now, do hosts really care? That's the question.
Thoughts on this one?
Kind regards and stay safe!
Hello! You really have a good idea for an application, such technological products help make the journey easier and more successful. However, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the basic functions that any concierge application cannot do without. https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/how-to-develop-a-concierge-app/
Huh - I like it, @ricardo21y. If I stayed in an AirBnB that had this, I'd appreciate it.
"do hosts really care?" -- I think you're right, that that's the question.
Even though I'd like a host to provide that, I doubt it'd make me more likely to book a place. Maybe it'd make me more likely to recommend a place.
After there's a vaccine, travel should pick back up, but I'm also thinking that AirBnB rentals are probably wayyyy down right around now.
So I do like it, but I wouldn't pursue it myself. Hope that helps :)
