Validation page launched. Thoughts on promoting it?

Hey all!

We just launched a landing page to help validate the concept of a tool we're building for ourselves, OnBoardMe (https://getonboard.app/).

What are your tips for driving traffic to it quickly?

Next week I'll be posting on social media, and linking to it on some existing channels of ours. But I'm having a hard time of thinking of blogs/forums/social accounts that might be in our target demographic. If you think of particular places to post it / ways to promote, any advice would be helpful.

Design / copy feedback is welcome too!

    Quick points:

.. In its current form you are validating some kind of interest around the idea, but you are not validating the product: waiting list signups will result in very different conversion rates than real "get started" button, and lack of pricing info will further distort your numbers.

.. Also your main CTA button text says "get notified" but there is no other info about this being early access waiting list registration thingy, which may be confusing. Visitor would except either the standard "get started" button, OR clear explanation that this is a pre-registration.

Hope this helps & best of luck

Great, I was thinking it needed more in the way of clarification. I’ll definitely make some changes in that area.

I'd get feedback on your idea by interviewing your potential users. It's hard to drive meaningful traffic and get feedback without having a real product imo.

Regarding feedback. Here's some stuff I noticed:

    • Website has no favicon
    • The email input has "get notified" as the CTA. What am I getting notified about?
    • Website takes 2-3 seconds to load. This is going to severely affect your bounce rate.
    • The website is broken on mobile. Looks like the header is sticking out to the right.
    • Overall I like the website. Clean and concise. Value prop is clear

All great points thanks! Normally these are things I’d notice when working on sites for clients, but for some reason they’re easy to miss when launching for my own interest 🤣
