• Shift management for a vineyard is nothing like shift management of a Path Lab (medical field) -- you can see this from the vertical solutions that have dev in this fields
• Shift management that feeds job or project costing is distinct to shift management pure for labour management.
• Shift management /staff scheduling is rarely country contextual thou. Payroll management is definitely country contextual.

Fm as someone who has worked in this space for a long time, your question is too broad. Broad questions are typically from people who know little about a space.

Plus asking for business owners is rarely the way to get the real pains. It is typically the shift workers. Just 2 days ago, another senior nurse was lamenting to me of the roster pains.
