My friends and I were looking back on our 2019, and it was a shame how many weeks/months there were with no recollection.
I'm interested in a simple journal that occasionally (daily, 3x weekly, weekly) sends you text messages with prompts like 'how was your day?' or 'tell me something funny that happened!' and your responses are logged. A micro-journal that contacts you.
I'm not a big writer, but it would be really cool to be able to access funny memories or milestones whenever I wanted.
Thoughts? Thanks!
I like the idea, I've had that problem too. I'll want to start journaling, but lose steam after a few days. It would be cool if you could send it pictures/videos too.
I've been hearing the pictures feedback a lot, I'll consider that.
Do you like the text prompts? Or would you rather it just be something that you could text whenever you wanted and it would date and stylize it for you?
I like the prompts because I think it reduces mental overhead a little of having to make a journal entry. You could keep the scope of the prompt pretty narrow too so it doesn't feel like a big task. A mobile app with push notifications could do this also.
I like the idea. Seems also quite straightforward to build out. I have a friend working for a startup that takes this concept but applies it to new parents.
That's cool. What's the startup called?
Good luck!
