I emailed two suppliers asking to see the specific batch's COA before purchase; one sent it in under an hour, three ignored me, the rest sent a generic PDF from 2024. Instant filter.

Check 2 — Delivery speed under a hard SLA. Cold-chain products degrade if they sit in a warehouse. 1-day UK dispatch and 2-3 day worldwide is the modern baseline for a supplier who's actually running proper logistics. Anything slower means the pen is warming up in someone's van.

Check 3 — Payment options beyond crypto. Card, SEPA, bank transfer all being available means the supplier has a real merchant account, which means they've passed compliance somewhere. Crypto-only = red flag.

Only one supplier cleared all three when I ran them. Pen arrived next-day UK, cold packs still fully frozen, COA batch number matched the published report to the character.
