Vibe Coding for the Sake of It

For years, I believed that writing code only made sense if it led to something tangible: a product, a startup, something that could change the world (or at least my bank account).

Then came this new trend: Vibe Coding—writing code with AI not to build something, but just for the pure joy of it. No goals, no pressure. Just vibes.

At first, I thought it was absurd. Maybe because accepting it meant admitting that my way of seeing things wasn’t the only right one anymore. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized:

How many ideas have I abandoned because they were too unconventional? How many times have I avoided starting something just because I didn’t know where it would lead?

So I decided to stop overthinking and just go with the flow.
