Visibility Over Uniqueness - Lesson from a visual soloprenuer

Products, courses, or services--how to be unique is a hurdle for any creator. There's a sea of options for customers. I interviewed Sathya this week on my podcast, the brain behind Yellow Visual and Y Visual App. He posed an interesting challenge back: why strive to stand out? The goal should be visibility to selected target customer group, not uniqueness.

Sathya caters to a specific audience using simple colors; all his visuals sit on yellow backgrounds crafted in Canva. No complex drawings or illustrations involved. His focus isn't art or entertainment but impact. He targets those who wish to use visuals as their communication tool—not artists nor illustrators.

His clarity is evident: he believes only in being visible and clear about your target customer base matters most.
