Voice notes suck, but they don't have to

Voice notes suck. They are kill your focus and productivity. You're trapped listening at someone elses pace, you can't scan for the important info, and if you miss something, you'll just have to listen to it again.

Science backs up this feeling of dread when receiving a voice note: reading is 1.5x faster than listening (238 vs. 150 words per minute), and research show that listeners score 28% worse on comprehension tests when compared with readers. Your brain works harder processing audio because information vanishes as it's spoken, forcing your working memory to go into overdrive.

That said, I have good news - you don't have to suffer through them anymore! Transcribbit exists exactly for this purpose. Convert those voice notes to text and all of a sudden you can skim, search, and actually remember what was said. You'll process the information in way less time and retain the information better.

Sure, voice notes feel personal and quick to send, but we can be honest and say that they're for the sender, not the receiver. They save the sender 30 seconds while costing you 5 minutes of focused attention. At least now we make it easy for you to read instead of listen. Get your peace of mind back - all for the price of a cup of coffee.
