Based on the latest predictions, the United States will be 500k-2M ventilators short by June 1. Many hospitals are already running out of N95 respirators & masks. It's about to get bad.
Luckily, we have millions of open source hackers around the world 3d printing & assembling these medical products! But that will also create a supply & demand logistics problem.
So, we're building the platform to match up hospital needs with hackers.
It will be open source and built rapidly. I'm looking for anyone who wants to volunteer. Particularly, I need someone to be my technical partner for the next 90 days. I also need someone to manage our Github community.
We start tomorrow at 12 pm CT with a Zoom meeting to hear from frontline doctors and what their needs are. Then we move into the software plans & assembling teams.

There is a long list of more complex projects hospitals have been compiling. The one we're building here could save the most lives the quickest.
FAQS: Why not just compile a Google Doc or spreadsheet? There are hundreds already circulating with no validation or authority. We've got to figure out something better.
