Based on the latest predictions, the United States will be 500k-2M ventilators short by June 1. Many hospitals are already running out of N95 respirators & masks. It's about to get bad.
Luckily, we have millions of open source hackers around the world 3d printing & assembling these medical products!
However, this is soon to be a supply & demand logistics problem. So, we're building the platform to match up hospital needs with hackers.
It will be open source and built rapidly. I'm looking for anyone who wants to volunteer. Particularly, I need someone to be my technical partner for the next 90 days. I also need someone to manage our Github community.
We start tomorrow at 12 pm CT with a Zoom meeting to hear from frontline doctors and what their needs are. Then we move into the software plans & assembling teams.
Here is the Zoom registration link and our website with a little more info.
Thanks!
