VR/AR game dev costs vs. App dev costs

Hi Everyone,

I am interested in virtual reality. I have built iphone games in the past (I am a business guy not a developer) and hired a small team to build them. Does anyone know if it's more expensive to develop VR/AR games and if so, how much more expensive I should anticipate it being?
