Wanna have your own community?
What's up!
Do you want to create your own community? And possibly getting paid for it? This is such a genuine question that I have in my mind! I am looking for people who wish to build their own community(i.e. book club, game club, etc) or a community for your product (i.e. instagram fan community, customer community, game shop community, etc) .
I want to help you guys to achieve your success as a community builder. I have a lot of experience and knowledges as being a community builder. Since I was in high school I started as the president of student body, I was always building up different communities. And now I am building my platform better help building communities. did u start talking with your customers yet? It might be a good start to create some blogs around your topic and then get them to read and post thoughts under it. To create interaction before the product is out. You will learn a lot just by looking at those interactions. If your product is right, people should get very engaged in your blog community. what do you say? haha
yea, I started thinking about that. There's no customers nor community yet, I'm only now starting to "grow" it.
And surely, I'm thinking that blogging (or, like, twitter, social media, or whatever the hip kids are doing these days) on the subject matter is going to be very important for building the brand, the community and the vehicle, through which I can connect to them.
The landing page I have atm is for gauging the interest and trying to see if people are into the idea before I start spending money on it.
lol sometimes the landing page doesn't really give good data gotta be careful tho. sign up is easy, it doesnt cost much.
The blog link to your social media is gonna be great man. you are not creating blog for traffic, it's just something that people might check, but when they check ur blog (assuming it has valuable content) they tends to have more trust in u and ur product

Brilliant! So I'm starting up Coretal - coretal.co
It's a backend business platform with multiple tools; Projects, Boards, Dashboard, and CRM in our Beta we're releasing next week and then we're going to be adding invoices, proposals, calendar, contracts, chat (internal and external) and meetings.
I'd really love to build a community around Coretal to help drive the development and direction, and also provide value to those that join and are part of the community.

Hello, nice to hear you up! Yes, I'm interested on building a community like IH, but very small and extremely local. Not all entrepreneurs I know can read and write in English (and as you can see, my English is a working in progress too) and I think they are locked in some WhatsApp groups that are just a showcase for digital products or successful experiences that other members had and are waiting for claps and "well done". I feel some lack of real community sense as here in IH.
I have no experience at all on build community and I don't know where I should have start it. Could you help me with it? Thanks!

I grew up in Asia when I was younger, I did a bit International business in south east Asia, I understand the barrier of languages or limitation of WhatsApp or Lines or WeChat. I would love to help you on building up your community! Can you tell me more about your project?
Sure thing! Maybe I need to structure better this idea, because all I have is a perception of a pain I felt. Anyways, I thinking get something like https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org and invite people to it... but I think I have to be something to really different in order to people jump in.

So you want to create a community of entrepreneurs sharing their products and communicate with each other? can you first tell me why indie hacker or WhatsApp(or other platforms you tried) is not working for you? Like what made you didn't like them? I can defiantly help you after understand your problem better. :)
Thats right Kanglelin! Actually IH is working for me, but not for some friends that doesn't know the English enough. I want to help them too. About WhatsApp is not working because people are using just as a showcase for their product but are not interacting with other. There are no discussions like here on IH, you know what I mean?

I see man, That sound great. I can totally help u on that. You re looking for a place for foreign entrepreneurs to interact with each other. you should try Pubb.at. Its the platform to form a community like that man. It has the dialog space just like Indie hacker's posts. Ppl can post a topic or a product, and others can interact and comment below. there is no barrier on there.
And I can also personally guide you on how to build a vibrant community of yours.

yes, some ppl from this WhatsApp group I`m part of, some closed friends that are doing business by their own. We all speak Portuguese (from Brazil).
