I am highly technical. Developed and managed projects for Fortune 500 companies as technical team lead and product manager.
I want to learn marketing and help build as many things possible.
For the last several months I helped various ventures to build businesses by reusing open source. There are a lot of open source efforts into projects that can be reused for specific use cases.
Example: last month someone approached me to advise on building a corporate training marketplace. Similar to airnbnb in features. A development company gave a quote of $460K. I advised against that pointed them to an open source marketplace skeleton (cocorico) and connected them with someone with previous experience with that. The developer ended up changing the design and some small features. Final bill 7k for the initial version of the project.
Hit me up with questions.
How about on email? I have verified my business model many times but still have feelings of uncertainty. . (is there a pm button on indiehackers?)
Hey @kaizen
I'm going to reach out to you on Skype. I'd like your opinion on a project I'm working on, and if there's any way I can help you.
Nice start alex.
I am also a technical guy working on projects since 2012 and interested in learning marketing and some growth hack for my next side project :)
Let me know if you have some tips on how to get started with it.
