Want to experiment with an audio community with me?

Something about me likes the idea of a community based on audio, ala Clubhouse (that I haven't had the privilege to be a part of).

So, I've set up an audio community on Chalk.

Works for iPhone. If you are Android you will need to send me your email (Twitter DM preferred) for me to send to them for them to send you an invite. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Tonight at 9pm London time I will be there. I will arrange other times too. Also just feel free to nominate times that you can be there within the app chat.

Is this different from say a discord server? clubhouse just seems like a party line from the '90s although they do seem to have got a good initial base of uses

Discord gets distracted with all other kinds of conversations, audio is just part of it.

I had a good time casually chatting with 5 indie hackers (and without the pressure of being recorded) yesterday.

Interesting… How does it work? 🤔

Show up. Opt in to participate, or lurk.

There was 5 of us yesterday. It was fun and super casual. Talked about all sorts, not just indie hacking.

I see. I guess I'll join you next time then! :)

I can get you and invite to Android, I need your email though. I've lost track of who I have and haven't done it for though 😅

I should be good. They sent me the .apk file a few days back.
