👋 Hey Indie Hackers!
Back in April, I launched BalanceTrackr. It is a simple budgeting app I built because I was tired of complex finance apps filled with ads, subscriptions, or required bank logins.
I just wanted something lightweight where I could manually add income and expenses, and see how my balance changed over time. So I built exactly that.
Key features:
No ads, no subscriptions, just a one-time purchase.
Tracks your balance as you add income or spend money.
Auto-logs Apple Pay transactions from Wallet for easier tracking.
Countdown to your next paycheck.
Stats + simple graphs to help you stay in control.
Even has a fun payday animation ☔💸
It's built in SwiftUI, with good help from Cursor and the app have full offline support.
I’ve had some great feedback from users so far, but would really appreciate thoughts from fellow indie maker, especially on positioning and visibility. If you check it out, I’d love to hear what you think!

looks great
Thank you very much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! :)
Using Apple Pay transactions is a clever way to work around the various banking integrations
Yes I totally agree! It's a feature I'm very happy to have achieved, and I use it a lot!
With it, the privacy of my financial data is taken care of, and with notifications from my app I always know how much money that are left in my credit/debit card after each payment :)
Thank you very much for the kind words!
Love it ...a budgeting app that doesn’t feel like a second job..
Thank you very much for those kind words! I am very proud of my little app :)
