Wanted: Developer for Subpoena Web App
There is an enormous amount of time wasted drafting subpoenas for business records.
Every district attorney's office in the US, law enforcement agencies, government agencies and private law offices have admin staff that spend their days drafting subpoenas.
Problem:
For example: To draft a subpoena for phone records, here is the process:

Use a site like https://freecarrierlookup.com/ to determine the phone carrier so you know what company to subpoena.

Go to https://www.search.org/resources/isp-list/ and determine the latest address and submission method for the subpoena.

Admin likely has an existing template for that company, input the phone number, dates and any specific records requested.
4.Create doc into a PDF, sign and submit to carrier.
Solution:
A web-app would streamline this entire process. For example, the user would input the phone number and check off info being quested. The app would automatically determine the carrier and draft the subpoena in seconds. ChatGPT will draft the text of the subpoena pretty well.

I just joined a paralegal Facebook group and there is plenty of subpoena talk. I think if I can get the admin staff hooked on a free trial, they would convince the partner attorneys.

Yes lots of subpoenas are drafted each day, at least in the US. Any time law enforcement (and other entities) wants records for phones, bank accounts, ISPs, email, etc a subpoena is necessary. There are paralegals and admin staff writing these all day.
I was wondering if it is something that gets done frequently enough to where users would kill to have it automated.
It looks like Google received 40,000 Subpoenas from LE in a year and the major Telecoms probably get a similar or higher number, so there is a market for someone making this problem easier.
Some concerns I have:
Not trying to shoot down your idea because ChatGPT seems like the future and it will inevitably chew through repetitive admin work so this could definitely has potential. Maybe reach out to the people who run the isp-list website, their entire orgs goal seems to be helping LE so they could be very receptive.
Do people draft that many Subpoenas? How much would they pay to have it automated? Are there individuals who are writing multiple subpoenas a day?
