Warm up new accounts before using them. Just like any new email account, new Linkedin accounts need to be warmed up before you can start using it at its full potential.
Linkedin places automatic limits on new accounts, and this differs depending on whether you have a premium account or not.
To ensure that LinkedIn doesn't block you or penalise you for spam, we recommend keeping your connection requests and outreach messages under a certain number, until your account is warmed up.
If your account is 1-5 days old, stick to less than 10 connection requests per day. 5-10 days, under 20. If it's 20-25 days old, you can go up to 50 connection requests per day. There's no hard and fast rule here, but keep these suggested limits in mind and you'll be fine.
If you’re sending too many requests – you will lose your account. But if you’re not sending enough – you won’t see enough results. It’s all about finding the right balance.
Once your account has been warmed up, we'd recommending sending up to 50 connection requests a day.
