Was my Privacy Learning Tool Validated?

Hey IndieHackers,

Back on Nov 5, 2018, I started developing a game about privacy and data collection. But I only saw it as a game/simulator. then a few weeks after launching to itch.io, a cybersecurity instructor donated $10 bucks. He saw it as a learning tool.

I'm not entirely sure if this counts as a product validation so I made a survey to gather more information.

Since the past year, I tried to connect with privacy advocates, devs, and everybody on that space on twitter. I'm not really active but I saw how difficult it is to reach not techy people in spite of news relating to privacy.

On this thread posted by Nico Botha,
"It says Privacy is hard to sell space."

However, csallen sent a comment which says

"Sell to emotion. You need to understand emotion: fear, embarrassment, shame, etc. Bare minimum table stakes is understanding why people care more about personal privacy violations than impersonal ones."

I believe, using a simulator, people can experience these types of things and hopefully, switch to privacy-focused apps.

I made a short survey to gather more information. If there are any sections that are unclear or should be changed, you can comment here or me a tweet :)

Also hoping to collaborate with you folks!
