Watch People Build Products Live
Hi IH,
One day I wanted to watch someone code. I went to Twitch but it took me a while to find the right section. In the middle of the games, some people were building a project: a game, a webapp...
I thought it was important to highlight those people who stream their project while staying on their Youtube Live or Twitch platform.
That's why I built Strow.io (https://strow.io/) . Which allows you to discover streamers who build projects as developers, designers or makers.
Moreover, I allow these streamers to use tools that can't be found on existing platforms (marketing, customization, interaction with viewers, etc).
What do you think about it? Do you know any streamers around you who would be interested?

I use to stream for long time on livecoding.tv after they closed it I went on youtube and twitch like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_EvgkcYfe4) I stopped streaming for some time but I will definitely add it to my list the next time.

This is a great concept & I was excited to use your site... but after browsing the landing page for ~20 seconds I'm really confused. I was under the impression the product launched by I guess you're not. I think the idea could work, and work well, but perhaps there needs to be a bit more distinct messaging to let me know whether the product is live or not

I personally have thought about streaming before but haven't taken the plunge. It would be cool to have a nice directory from across YouTube and Twitch of others to watch, for sure.

I think coding/maker streams will become more popular. So you can probably get a foot in the door early.

That's pretty cool! I used to record myself and then post to youtube. It was really sad - but that was half the point. Though, I found it too exhausting to do the way I was doing it and have since stopped. Plus, small kids in the house made it too distracting... 😼 🤯

The idea is definitely legit and will become increasingly popular.
What's your growth strategy? The reason I ask is because I like the idea and I think growth will be the most creative and fun part of it.

It's free for viewers and streamers but with a paid plan for streamers. (Business plan is under construction right now)
Strow is not another platform like YT or Twitch, see it like a wrapper but for live content.
Watching people resolving problems in live is a different experience. Maybe you don't like it, but you can interact directly and try to solve problem, ask or talk directly to the streamer. It's raw and unedited, but it's the beauty of livestream :)
It's more about learning technology but more about watching people code, design, make something what you see. Some streamer explain you concept in live, some don't.
