One thing we noticed while building Linkkit is that people often share sensitive links through tools that were designed only for public marketing campaigns.
So we added password protection and expiration controls directly into Linkkit.
Now users can protect client files, internal documents, private campaigns, and exclusive content without needing extra tools or complicated workflows. We wanted privacy and control to feel simple, fast, and built into the product from the start.
Curious how other founders approach secure link sharing in their products.
We've been handling this with time-limited signed URLs on the backend — works well but adds friction during setup. Having it built natively into the link layer is a much cleaner approach. Does the password protection work across QR codes too?
