We are out there - or, how problems of your previous project can be the value prop of your new start up

Hi folks, first of all i am super excited to be part of this community. I had been hesitant to make my first post - now after reading up and seeing the amazing vibe, i am taking a stab.

I am Nikolas and for the past years i have been working in various start ups (in the learning (skilling + upskilling) domain. During this journey, together with a colleague we have been meditating on ways that we could have done things better. He was in the technology area (head of engineering) while i represented operations, customers etc.

The result of these discussions was that we should have been better at:

1. Being quicker in taking new versions of our software to the market (faster release cycles)
2. Prepare our app for scale, both technically and operationally (prepare for growth)
3. Keep a lean and clean code. - not spend so much time building necessary but not value adding features.

These were the foundations and our compass during the past 6 months when we were building our own venture - Apyhub. What we realized is that there WAS a way to empower dev teams and tackle the problems that we faced when trying to build and scale different products. Software utility services is a term we started adopting and this gradually led to the app we just released.

Our focus now is to keep building on this - publish more utility services and establish ourselves as the de facto place for developers looking for ways to build leaner apps.
