The way we build software has changed. Tools like Cursor, Replit, and Lovable let you go from idea to working app in hours, not weeks. But QA? Still stuck in the old world.
We kept seeing the same pattern: builders ship fast, then spend hours clicking through their apps hunting for bugs. Or worse—they don't, and users find the bugs for them.
So we built Scout: AI that explores your app like a real user would, finding broken features and edge cases before they become embarrassing support tickets.
What we've learned so far:
Prompts are the new test scripts. Users don't want to configure complex test suites. They want to describe what matters in plain English and let AI figure out the rest.
Interactive beats autonomous. We originally built Scout to run fully automated. Turns out builders want to guide the AI, not just watch it. They want a copilot, not autopilot.
Speed matters more than coverage. A quick check that catches the obvious breaks is more valuable than a slow, comprehensive test that nobody runs.
We're a small team from Vietnam, building for the global dev community. Would love feedback from fellow builders—what's your current QA workflow when you're shipping fast?
