I’ve been on trips where everyone shares the Google Doc for the itinerary… until Day 2. Then it’s chaos.
No one tracks who paid.
Plans change.
Receipts disappear.
You promise yourself you’ll journal it all — and never do.
That’s exactly the gap we built Journve for.
Me (Rahul) and my co-founder (Aaron) realized: everything in the travel tech world is obsessed with getting you to the trip. Booking flights. Reserving hotels. Even AI itineraries.
But what about once you land?
There was no clean system for managing the actual journey — the middle part. So we built one.
🧭 What Journve does:
Track your trip budget and expenses in real-time
Split costs with friends (like Splitwise, but trip-specific)
Plan daily tasks or events
Journal memories, photos, mood, thoughts
Offline mode when you’re off-grid
One ongoing trip at a time — focused by design
We’re not trying to compete with booking engines. We’re building the OS that picks up where they leave off.
📌 Tech stack: Firebase, Firestore, React/Next.js (v0), custom UI, and a bit of ✨ design obsession
We just soft-launched Journve:

This is V1. It's very real and very usable. More features coming — plug-ins, trip templates, friend timelines, etc.
Would love to hear what you think, what hurts, and what features you'd want on your next trip.
Travel smarter,
– Rahul
P.S. It’s 100% free for now. Feedback = oxygen 🌍
