As IT freelancers, we constantly ran into problems with monitoring tools.
They were either too simple (just uptime pings) or too bloated with features we didn’t need.
So we built UptimeEye - a lean, developer-first monitoring tool that watches your whole flow, not just single API calls. From login to business actions, it validates that everything works as expected.
We just opened our 2-month free beta and are looking for early users who want to help shape it. Feedback on what’s missing or painful would mean a lot.
Happy to answer questions, share details, or even help you set it up if you’re curious.
Really like the angle here, moving beyond simple pings to flow monitoring that mirrors real user journeys (login → checkout → success), with fast checks and multi-region coverage. The alert mix (Slack/Teams/Email/Telegram/Webhooks) plus step-level assertions feels like the “catch it before the ticket” setup most teams actually need. The cURL-to-flow import and status pages are smart adds, too.
Curious: what single activation best predicts a paying user, first multi-step flow with assertions, first incident caught, or first alert wired into the team channel? And on distribution, which channel is bringing paying users right now?
P.S. I’m with Buzz; we build conversion-focused Webflow sites and pragmatic SEO for product launches. Happy to share a quick GTM checklist if useful.
Thanks for the thoughtful breakdown - you nailed the positioning better than we did 🙂.
On activation, our early signal so far is setting up the first multi-step flow with assertions. That’s when users start to “get it” and see value beyond uptime pings. Second-best seems to be when they wire the first alert into their team channel - because then it becomes part of their workflow instead of just a dashboard.
On distribution: we’re still pre-revenue, so no “paying user channel” yet. Right now it’s mostly word of mouth, dev communities, and Product Hunt/Indie Hackers. We’re learning which ones will scale.
Would love to see that GTM checklist - always open to sharpening our launch playbook.
Seems like a thoughtful solution to a real gap in the market — flow-based monitoring is a much-needed step up from basic pings. I'd love to try out the beta and share some feedback!
Feel free to join the beta. You can use uptimeeye 2 months for free and if you like it you get 50% off for the first year.
