We changed the header from Fire Your Data Analyst to Turn your data into solutions. At first fire your data analyst looked engaging but only 5 of 200 people signed up for the beta version. Then we changed it to the latter one. It is more clear and everyone knows what is the website is about in 2 seconds. My key takeaway is being too aggressive doesn't work for landing pages.
We wrote No Spam. Ever. under the email section. It looked as if it won't do any good initially, after changes, though, signups increased dramatically.
We added a block with a contrast color. After looking at different landing pages that convert, I noticed that they all have contrast colors. It also had an effect on the conversion rate. I think it is more engaging since many people leave the website after the first block if all blocks are the same color. However, if they are contrast colors, they tend to continue to look at the website.
Hi - I remember providing feedback on your initial landing page. I think these updates are definitely a big improvement.
There is one small nitpick, but thought I'd mention it since I noticed it both times I viewed the page.
In the comparison section, I would try to make the order of the title and sections matched. Currently, they do not. Also, if there was a way to make them the same size (vertically) -- i think that would visually help. Perhaps a graphic or statement, about what they can do with all that saved time in that current white/empty space?
thanks for your kind words!
Hi, thanks for sharing. Do you have any ideas what change had the biggest positive impact? As far as I know it's better to change the elements one-by-one to know exactly what works.
Yes but our first landing page didn't even have a features block so we added essential blocks and a few conversion boosters. After that, we will do it as you said. I think the header had the biggest impact.
