This isn’t just a passion project. It’s something I believe needs to exist.
I’m not a developer. I’m not a UX designer. But I am someone with a clear concept, a strong sense of purpose, and a background in unconventional marketing—the kind that earns attention, not buys it. And it works.
I’ve stepped away from the platforms we all know. You probably feel it too:
We’re scrolling, posting, reacting—just to stay visible. We’re not connecting. We’re broadcasting into the void.
It’s like we’ve become shadows chasing relevance.
Apps that once brought people together now drain time, blur identity, and reward noise over nuance. We’re more “connected” than ever, and yet more disconnected from ourselves.
That’s why I’m building something different. Not to win the algorithm, but to serve the people who’ve quietly outgrown it.
I’ve already:
• Mocked up the core experience (not polished UX—but intentional design)
• Outlined the product roadmap and early community strategy
• Thought through monetisation, but only as a second priority (product love comes first)
The direction is real. The conviction is deeper than a trend.

I am in California and am almost to Beta with a privacy first, ad free, social media app called Cliqstr. It is designed for kids, families, and people who want a different social experience. It is a passion project too and most would say I am fanatical about it. I have connected with Mom groups and will soon recruit them as testers to gather feedback. The future features list is rich and will add the stickiness. But the solo things is more and more challenging even with AI. Finding a Co-Founder in Socal is tough and my profile is everything it shouldn't be. And yet, I get up at 4:30 everyday and hack a way. The biggest challenge has been custom auth, I am going beyond COPAA, and the social feeds are unique so that is what's on deck today. The numbers are very promising. I am in the process of recruiting advisory board members.
