We got tired of re-sending files and links and... So we made a client portal.

My colleague and I have been freelancing for many years and... Over and over again, we kept encountering the same thing...

Where's that link again?

Where's the file XYZ? (that we sent 3 times so far)

Here's a mega mail with all the links and files... In case you haven't seen the previous one.

...

We tried solving this earlier by looking at other client portals...

But they were either too restrictive (ilke, connect one licence to one domain) or too clumsy and price (those tools trying to be everything everywhere all at once).

We also thought about just a simple Google Doc, paste everything within but... It's just not looking professional enough.

We love simplicity, but our clients love feeling special, too.

That's why we've built something quite simple... Yet special enough for our clients /

Create your portal in 3 clicks. Invite your client. Upload files and links, leave notes, comments... Embedd welcome videos, brand it a bit...

You know, it's like meeting them in the online office.
Onboard, do the job, offboard.
...

Now we're looking to get this baby off the ground. We're still not sure about pricing tiers or anything, that's why we try to collect beta users first...

When we releases public access, one portal will be free forever, that's for sure...
...

Any honest feedback is quite welcome. This community has always been quite supportive.

If we could help out in any way by sharing our experience in building stuff like this, leave a comment below. I'm a brand strategist and a copywriter, and my business partner is a full stack developer, so we kinda cover all the bases for now.

I love this. We have this problem all the time in a health business that we have. People are always looking for blood test results etc. We don't want everything to just be online as people say they like that our business is so friendly.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, it provides me with a lot of clarity around possible use cases. I agree, it's important to keep that friendly touch, especially in health businesses, where people demand extra care...

How do you usually handle such requests? Manually?
