Hi folks,
I’ve been working full-time on various SAAS projects with my business partner
@MoZam for more than a year, and with each new launch of a minor or ambitious project, we were faced with the same issues concerning our "go-to-market" strategy. Indeed, after identifying a problem and carrying out a few interviews, we systematically ask ourselves the same questions that we consider essential to deal with on an excellent go-to-market.
We have always bootstrapped our projects and our main battle was: how can we have the same results as our competitors do with far fewer resources. The answer has always been: copy our biggest competitors until proven otherwise.
We spent days going through our competitors' sites, listing them verbatim, and taking screenshots. This helps us both to create our landing page and to write our product presentation as well as the SEO descriptions.
That's why we created SaasTrace (https://saastrace.io). We gathered information by going back 4 years from over 4,000 Saas products, resulting in a database of over 50,000 landing pages and over 2,000,000 marketing keywords. This makes SaasTrace the largest database of its kind in the Saas world.
The solution is still in beta but the good news is that it is exclusively free and has unlimited access for indie hackers. Please enjoy it. We are looking forward to receiving your comments and suggestions to improve the product.
Also, we share our adventure on Twitter by building in public. We'll be happy to see you there (https://twitter.com/Sammyhamine and https://twitter.com/SMooZAM)
Impressive volume you have gathered there! Thanks for making it available to all. I will definitely check it when I build my next landing page.
