We Hit 1K MRR!
Hi all,
This is of course our first post here on Indie Hackers - we’ve been documenting our journey on YouTube, X, and Discord mostly.
We’ve come so far. It was an incredible feeling to “click” and finally have a week where we went from $100 total to $1k+mrr, it’s validating, but it shows us just how much more there is to do.
We spend hours looking at the dashboard. Tweaking this, tweaking that. You don’t REALLY know what’s working but somewhere along the way you realize you just might have gotten yourself in your ICPs shoes enough to maybe know what they want. And so on….
Onwards and upwards to 10k mrr!

No feedback on the product specifically but wanted to say congrats. It’s a great feeling, well deserved, and yes (more than money) the validation that you’ve solved the “puzzle” from idea to product in PAYING users’ hands…is the best drug!
One small tip, having been down this road several times, keep one eye on making it the business you want to run. Longevity > MRR bumps that could lead to burnout. My younger self would laugh but self care is paramount if you’re going to do this long term. Be ok with it never being done, and never being perfect.

I have no use for the product but I must say I love the colors for the landing page and for the app itself. Looks clean.

So your users are coming from Youtube, Discord and X ?
We actually partnered with a YouTuber - so yes, a majority of the traffic is coming through him right now :) phase 2 is growing out of just that channel. But we’re actively doubling down on creators. Plan to start a clipping farm this weekend.
Nice ! What was your budget for promotion ? To get this 10k MRR ?
Right now our offer is affiliate deals so the budget is the revenue share we offer (20% for smaller creators) (30% for bigger)
