Hey Indie Hackers 👋
We just launched a new feature inside Told: AI-powered Product Tours.
Told started as an in-app feedback tool (NPS, CSAT, surveys).
But while working with users, we kept seeing the same pattern:
Teams were measuring satisfaction…
but struggling with activation.
So instead of pivoting, we expanded the product.
We added AI-powered product tours to help teams:
• Guide users step-by-step
• Highlight key features at the right moment
• Increase activation
• Collect contextual feedback
The insight was simple:
Feedback only becomes meaningful once users reach value.
By combining onboarding + feedback in one platform, we’re trying to create a tighter activation loop.
Still early.
Now the focus is on traction, learning, and iteration.
Curious to hear from other founders:
👉 Did improving onboarding significantly impact your activation?
👉 Do you use separate tools for tours and feedback?
Happy to share learnings as we go.
