Today we launched a new AI page inside DiscountHub.
Instead of manually browsing through hundreds of deals, users can simply describe what they are looking for, for example:
“Find me a good laptop deal under $800”
“I need a discount on a productivity tool”
“Show me the best current travel offers”
The AI then helps find the most relevant deals, promo codes, and partner offers available on the platform.
I think this can solve one of the biggest problems with deal aggregators: there may be plenty of offers, but finding the right one still takes time.
This is still an early version, so the next step is improving the quality of recommendations and understanding what users actually ask for.
Would you personally use an AI assistant to find discounts, or would you still prefer traditional categories and filters?
Really love the concept behind DiscountHub! Th aggregation space is often cluttered with outdated coupons, broken affiliate links or dodgy browser extensions that get in the way. Cheers
I’d use it if it saves me from opening 20 tabs. Good recommendation quality will matter more than the AI label.
Give it a try—if you have any feedback, I’d be happy to hear it.
Nice catch. Parsing human-readable pages is always trickier than it looks. Restricting the scan to the relevant section and requiring consecutive confirmations seems like a solid approach.
Great breakdown! I've been building an AI SEO tool and going through the same journey. The cold email game is tough — I sent 80 and got 0 replies so far. How long did it take you to see your first response?
The underrated asset here is the query log: every AI search is a shopper telling you exactly what they want to buy right now, which is intent data most affiliate platforms would pay for. Feed the unfulfilled queries back into partner recruitment, since "user asked for X and we had nothing" is your sharpest signal for which deals to source next. That loop will matter more than recommendation quality in the early days.
I partially agree with you, but to do that, I need to implement user registration.
I’d probably use the AI assistant first, especially when I already know roughly what I want but don’t want to dig through dozens of categories.
The tricky part will probably be trust. For deals, users may want to know why something was recommended, whether it’s actually the best current price, and if the result is influenced by partner offers.
A hybrid approach might work best: AI for discovery, then clear filters and comparison details before the user decides.
That is exactly how DiscountHub operates right now. Let me know if there are any other proposals; I’d be happy to hear them. )
I love this - Finding deals etc has always been a chore! The normal searching, filtering etc has its limitations so this is a great use of AI.
The automation piece is underrated. Most founders spend 80% of their time on ops that could be templated. Did you build the automation yourself or use Zapier/Make?
Yeahh I would like to use an AI assistant. I look forward to this
nice one champ
Wow, this is a new idea .. sounds interesting 🤔
I'm a virtual assistant and an SOP writer, just in case anyone is interested
