Hello Indie Hackers đź‘‹
We’ve just launched Adapt Core: https://get-core.a-dapt.com
Our belief is simple:
Sales is a muscle.
And the emotional aspect that actually differentiates people such as confidence, composure, presence isn’t talent. It’s trained.
With Adapt Core you train your emotional composure so that when the real sales conversation happens, you already know how to activate your “core” emotional muscle
Most sales tools focus on scripts or real-time prompts. We focus on:
Training the human side of the deal
Emotional control, confidence, and presence
Real emotional feedback and guided practice
We’ve just launched on Product Hunt and we’re genuinely looking for feedback, not hype:

Would love thoughts on:
Does the “sales is a muscle” framing resonate?
Is emotional presence something you’d actually train for?
Where would this fit in your workflow, if at all?
Happy to answer questions about the approach or the tech.
Thanks 🙏
Matthew
This is interesting — most sales training focuses on what you say, not how you come across while saying it.
The "emotional mirror" framing is smart. People rarely get honest feedback on their presence because it's awkward to tell someone "you seemed nervous" or "you lost them halfway through."
A few thoughts:
1. The "aha moment" needs to be fast. If I have to do 3+ calls before seeing value, I'll drop off. Maybe a single recording analysis could work as a hook?
2. Comparison over time would be huge. Showing "here's your composure score 3 months ago vs now" makes it tangible and shareable.
3. Who's the buyer? Individual salespeople might not pay for this, but sales managers training teams definitely would. The positioning might matter more than the product itself.
Curious: are you seeing more interest from individuals or teams so far?
Hi Viktoriia - thanks for these comments. Your observation about people rarely getting honest feedback on emotional composure was spot on. We have been focusing on high stakes situations where this matters, such as witness preparation (TestMyWitness) We realised sales could be a much larger market. The best way to show the "aha moment" is in a heat map and we track improvement over time. When we worked with young adults preparing for interviews we found the emotion mirror could have an immediate impact once they saw how they were coming across, but sustained change took 6 to 8 weeks training for it to become muscle memory. Good question on the buyer - that is why we are doing some discovery. Thanks again, Matthew
