We just launched PawModel — AI art that actually looks like YOUR pet

Hey IH! Today I'm launching PawModel — and I'm genuinely excited (and a little nervous) to share it with you.

The problem I kept running into

I have a dog named Haley. Like most pet owners, I wanted cool AI-generated portraits of her. I tried every tool out there. Every single one gave me back a generic dog. Not Haley. Not her crooked ear, not the goofy eyebrow thing she does, not her exact markings.

That's the gap PawModel fills.

What PawModel does

Instead of prompting a generic AI, PawModel trains a custom model on your specific pet. You upload 10–20 photos, our AI spends ~10 minutes learning what makes your pet uniquely them — face shape, markings, fur pattern — and then you can generate unlimited portraits and video reels that are unmistakably yours.

  • 10+ art styles: oil painting, watercolor, anime, superhero, holiday card, and more

  • - Video Reel Studio: turn portraits into short videos with transitions and music — ready for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

  • - Fast: portraits in under 30 seconds once your model is trained

  • - Privacy-first: your photos are never shared with third parties and can be deleted anytime

The stack & journey

I built this solo in early 2026. The hardest part wasn't the AI — it was getting the fine-tuning pipeline stable enough that a non-technical user could trigger it with a single button click and reliably get great results. A lot of failed runs and frustrated test users later, I think we're there.

Pricing starts at $14.99 for 45 credits (enough for a model training + 25 portraits). Pay-as-you-go, no subscription required.

What I'd love feedback on

  • Does the pricing feel right for the value?

  • - Are there styles or features you'd want to see added?

  • - Pet owners: what would actually make you share AI pet art with friends?

Happy to answer any questions. Go make something beautiful for your pet 🐾
