We just launched TaskJect – a task manager we actually needed.

Hey Indie Hackers,

After trying Jira, Trello, Notion, ClickUp… we realized none of them really fit how we wanted to work:

Clear, fast, and without distractions.

So we built TaskJect for our team — and now it’s live for others to try.

🛠️ What’s inside:

— Minimal UI (one-screen task view)

— Table + Kanban

— Priorities, deadlines, complexity

— Lightweight manual time tracking (no timers!)

— Notes from the Team Lead

— Project-level access control

— Telegram notifications for status changes

We’ll keep improving it based on feedback — that’s what got us this far.

💬 I’d love your thoughts:

What do you need from a task manager right now?
