We kept losing track of who agreed to what after calls so I built a fix
The problem
Small thing that kept happening on our team: we'd have a call, everyone would agree on next steps, and then a week later someone would go "wait, I thought you were handling that?"
Not because anyone was slacking. Just no one takes good notes in real time, and memory is unreliable a week later.
What existing tools got wrong
I looked at existing tools and most "AI meeting summary" features just spit out one big generic recap for the whole team. Still requires someone to read it and figure out who owns what.
What I built instead
For MoodLens (project management + AI teammates for agencies), I built it differently: after a call, everyone gets their own personal action items automatically, based on what they specifically committed to.
Small feature, but it's been the one that gets the most "oh that's smart" reaction from people I show it to.
Question for the community
Curious if others have run into this same problem how do you all currently track commitments from meetings? Manual notes? Just... hoping people remember?
I think the interesting shift is that you're treating the meeting summary as a byproduct rather than the product.
People rarely need a better recap. They need less ambiguity about ownership. Those sound similar, but they solve very different problems.
