We have been building AnveVoice as a website voice/chat agent, and the clearest merchant use case is now Shopify.
The product is already live, and we recently launched the native Shopify app so merchants can add it directly to their store.
My current thesis: Shopify stores do not need AI everywhere. They need a product-trained sales/support assistant on the page where shoppers already hesitate.
Examples:
The offer for the first 100 Shopify stores is 2 months free plus help setting up the first page.
Question for other founders/operators: if this were your store, where would you deploy it first?
Product page, buying guide, FAQ/support, returns page, size guide, or somewhere else?
I Expected Traffic to Hit Zero. It Didn’t.
What I'd be most curious about is whether hesitation is actually the thing you'd want to optimize around first.
Sometimes a shopper pauses because they need information.
Sometimes they pause because they're uncertain.
Sometimes they pause because they're not ready to buy yet.
Those can all look like the same moment from the store owner's perspective while pointing toward very different jobs for the assistant.
That's what stood out to me reading this.
