We launched (for a third time!) last week: Zipper, an AI-powered site builder
My startup Zipper launched our third iteration last week!
We started as a coach-to-athlete marketplace but that didn't land. We adjusted to be a marketplace supported by business operations but still weren't quite making progress. Finally, we discovered all our clients wanted a website but didn't want to actually build it.
We took all of our learnings and built a product that lets customers build a website, use AI for content generation, and then integrate with the rest of our tools (payments, scheduling, CRM, blogging). We are focusing on providers in the sports, health, and wellness space and specializing our tools to their needs.
For our first iteration of the idea, we got a couple of customers and literally built a website by hand with standard HTML/JS/CSS. We got a few more customers and turned the idea into a config-driven site generation. Finally, we built a site builder/CMS in front of the site generator, and that's the product we have today. We've been getting constant user feedback which has been incredibly helpful to shape the product and it's been great to acquire customers during the process.
We still have some work to do on our landing pages before we hit digital marketing and social marketing hard, but we are in a good place with the product. Quite proud of what we've done so far!
