We launched on Product Hunt today.

HiveMind went live on PH today. It's an AI strategy copilot built to push back instead of agree. You give it a positioning or strategy decision, it tells you what's wrong instead of validating it.

The interesting part of launch day so far: every skeptical "isn't this just ChatGPT with a prompt" comment is exactly the audience we want. The whole pitch is that generic LLMs agree with everything and this one won't. So the doubters are the people most likely to get it once they try it.

It's live here if you want to throw your own positioning at it and watch it push back:

Built to take criticism, so the more brutal the reaction the better.

Just took a look at your landing page. A few thoughts:

    Strengths

    • The visual identity is memorable and feels different from the typical AI SaaS site.

    • The headline immediately communicates that this is a marketing focused AI product.

    • The page does a good job explaining the problem, solution, and target audience.

    • Social proof from recognizable brands helps build credibility.

    Areas for Improvement

    • The value proposition could be clearer above the fold. "Meet Your New Marketing Strategist" sounds interesting, but I'd like to understand exactly what HiveMind does within 5 seconds.

    • The page is very text heavy. Some sections could be condensed into shorter bullets or visuals to improve readability.

    • The comparison section ("Your LLM vs. HiveMind") is probably the most important part, but the text is difficult to scan quickly.

    • Consider adding screenshots, workflows, or real outputs from the product. Right now I'm reading about the product more than I'm seeing it.

    • The CTA could be stronger and repeated with more context throughout the page.

One thing I'd especially improve: show the outcome. Instead of focusing on features, show an example prompt, HiveMind's response, and the resulting marketing insight. That would make the value much more tangible.

Overall, the branding is strong and memorable. I think the biggest opportunity is making the value proposition and product benefits easier to grasp at a glance.

This is genuinely useful, thank you for actually going to the page and not just dropping a "looks great."

The funny part: your strongest point is the exact thing HiveMind tells founders to fix. We pressure-test other people's pages for leading with mechanism over outcome, and then did the same thing on our own landing. Reading about the product instead of seeing it is precisely the trap. Caught red-handed.

The "show an example prompt, the response, and the resulting insight" suggestion is the fix we're prioritizing. We just built exactly those outputs for the Product Hunt gallery (ran real strategy briefs through it and captured the teardowns), so we have the material, it just isn't on the landing page yet. That's a clear next move.

The comparison section being hard to scan is fair too. It's the most important block and currently the densest, which is backwards.

Appreciate you taking the time on this. The above-the-fold clarity and show-don't-tell points are going straight onto the list.

        Glad it was helpful!

Honestly, the fact that you already have the real outputs for the Product Hunt gallery puts you in a great position. A few strategic tweaks to the landing page structure and visual hierarchy could probably increase clarity significantly without changing the core messaging.

I spend a lot of time building and optimizing websites, and one thing I've noticed is that visitors rarely read, they scan. The faster they can see the outcome, the better the conversion rate tends to be.

Looking forward to seeing the next iteration. If you ever need a developer's perspective on implementation or conversion-focused improvements, I'd be happy to help.
