We launched StoreMD about 4 weeks ago. Building an AI agent that scans Shopify stores in 60 seconds. 43 checks across 5 modules: Store Health, Listings, Agentic Readiness, Compliance, and Browser Automation.

Why we built it:

Before writing a single line of code we went through 530+ reviews of the most popular Shopify apps. The same complaints kept coming up. Privy has 40+ reviews from merchants saying it keeps billing $29/month after being uninstalled. PageFly, Shogun, Avada have 380+ combined reviews confirming they leave dead code in your theme files after deletion. And nobody tells merchants what each app actually does to their store performance.

What makes StoreMD different:

The scan opens your store in a real browser. Not server-side. It loads pages the way actual customers do. That's how it catches things speed optimizers miss, like JavaScript from 14 apps stacking on your checkout page. It also checks something nobody else does: whether AI shopping agents like ChatGPT and Perplexity can actually find your products. Most stores are completely invisible to them right now.

Where we are:

The app isn't on the Shopify App Store yet. We're in beta and looking for merchants who want a free full scan. You get a complete health report with every issue ranked by priority and step-by-step fixes. We get real feedback to ship a better product.

If you run a Shopify store, DM me your .myshopify.com URL and I'll send the install link.

This is a useful wedge because you’re not just doing another “Shopify audit.” The stronger angle is that StoreMD is checking what happens after merchants install too many apps: dead code, checkout drag, compliance gaps, and now visibility to AI shopping agents.

That makes the product feel closer to store diagnostics plus agent-readiness, not just performance scanning. I’d probably lead harder with that because merchants already understand “my store is slow,” but they may not yet realize “my store is invisible or messy for AI buyers.”

One thing I’d watch is the StoreMD name. It explains the “store doctor” idea, but if this becomes a broader commerce intelligence layer for Shopify brands, Beryxa.com would feel more premium and less tied to a diagnostic-tool frame.
