We made a decision today that will define how we compete.

There are a lot of family organization apps out there. Cozi, Skylight, ClassDojo, a handful of newer entrants. Some are good. Most try to do everything — shared calendars, grocery lists, chore charts, messaging. They're comprehensive.

We're going the other direction. Skoolit does one thing: it monitors the emails and communications coming from your kids' school and activity world, extracts what matters, and puts it in front of you without any work on your part. No forwarding emails. No setting up filters. No checking yet another app. It just happens.

That narrowness is a feature. A parent who's drowning in school communications doesn't need 40 features. They need one thing done reliably and well.

We also moved the prototype over to getskoolit.com today — which means our working build and our public-facing presence are now in the same place. A small logistical thing, but it felt like a real step toward being a real product.

Niche and deep beats broad and shallow. That's the bet.

Come see the product at getskoolit.com and get on the list.
